Neurotoxins temporarily relax targeted facial muscles by blocking the nerve signals that cause them to contract. When those muscles relax, the wrinkles and lines they create — frown lines, forehead creases, crow's feet — soften and smooth.

The Process
What to expect
on treatment day
Layanna examines your facial anatomy at rest and in motion, identifies the muscles creating your concern, and maps injection points with the same artistic eye she honed in 10 years of professional makeup work.
A few precise injections with a very fine needle. Most areas take 5–15 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as a tiny pinch — numbing cream is available but rarely needed.
Return to normal activities immediately. Avoid rubbing the area, lying down, or intense exercise for 4 hours. Mild redness at injection sites resolves within hours.
Initial softening at 3–5 days. Full results visible at 10–14 days. Lasts 3–4 months for standard areas, 4–6 months for masseter and hyperhidrosis.
Before your treatment
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
- Schedule at least 2 weeks before any major event
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Discontinue retinoids for 3 days prior
- Avoid blood thinners (fish oil, vitamin E, aspirin) for 1 week if possible
- Not eligible if pregnant or nursing
After your treatment
- Stay upright for 4 hours — avoid lying flat
- Do not touch or massage the treated area for 24 hours
- Avoid intense exercise, saunas, hot showers for 24 hours
- Minor redness or swelling resolves quickly
- Avoid hats or headbands that pressure the treated area
- Contact us if you experience unusual swelling or drooping
